College Prep Scholars Program Questbridge This program provides high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with the resources needed to be accepted at top universities. College Prep Scholars are eligible to attend summer programs, college admissions conferences, and campus visits. They also qualify for Questbridge awards and can receive application feedback, admissions mentoring, and other guidance for the college application process. Many scholarships are offered through this program, not only for college tuition but also for summer programs. We highly recommend all eligible students to apply for this program. Eligibility:
current high school junior
high academic achievement
household income of less than $65,000/yr (not a strict cut-off)
National Hispanic Recognition Program CollegeBoard This is an academic honor to be included on college, scholarship, and other applications. It identifies academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino students in response to their junior year PSAT/NMSQT scores. Eligibility:
take the PSAT/NMSQT in the fall of junior year
check Hispanic/Latino on the answer sheet
score above a certain score (varies)
minimum 3.5/4.0 GPA
eligible students will be invited to apply in the spring semester of junior year
